Summer Camps

Our camps are based out of Howell Ice Arena, Hollydell Ice Arena, and Jersey Shore Arena. A full description of each camp will be released when the camp dates are scheduled. Our camps feature professional guest coaches, coaches who have played a minimum of NCAA/Junior and all of our shooters are Junior, Collegiate, or Pro. Generally, we offer 4 hours of ice per day, 50 minutes of off ice, and 50 minutes of classroom.

Elite Camp with HC Traktor (KHL) Goalie Coach Peter Skrabelj at Howell Ice Arena

Coach Peter Skrabelj, whom I was fortunate to coach while he played junior in the US and professionally in the Czech Republic, has been coming over annually to co-host our Elite Camp at Howell. Coach Skrabelj, who is the Goaltending Coach for HC Traktor in the KHL, was an integral part of the 2021-22 HC Slovan Bratislava Slovak Extraliga Championship team as the team's Goaltending Coach. Peter's unique insights and coaching style provide a great opportunity for the goaltenders to receive some different perspective and add to their their existing skill set. The camp, which is a 5 day camp, features 4 hours a day on ice, 50 minutes of off ice, and classroom video sessions daily. This camp is limited to 24 goaltenders and there are requirements for  participation. 

This summer, we have an added special guest co-host, Justin Cardinal of Evolution Goaltending Consultants. Coach Justin has 9 years of consulting experience in the WHL. He spent three seasons  with the PG Cougars, and spent six seasons with the Kootenay Ice where  he was part of the 2011 WHL Ed Chynoweth Cup Championship, and  represented the WHL in the 2011 Memorial Cup.  Coach Justin has the unique honor of having two of his current clients, Adin Hill and Logan Thompson on the Vegas Golden Knights, earning their names engraved on the Stanley Cup... in the same year! Justin's passionate, scientific, and cerebral approach to goaltending is something we are looking forward to all of our clients experiencing and learning.

Preseason Prep Camp with Atlanta Gladiators (ECHL) Goalie Coach Austin Keiser at Howell Ice Arena

Coach Keiser, in addition to being the Atlanta Gladiators Goaltending Coach, is also the Nashville Jr Predators Director of Goaltending Development. Austin's exceptional communication skills and approach have been evident in the advanced development and progress of the Junior Predators goaltenders. Longtime Bosak Goaltending clients Evan Szary (Army - West Point, Atlantic Conference, NCAA Division I) and Connor McDonough (Amarillo Wranglers, NAHL) also train with Austin and have given emphatic endorsements of his philosophies and approach. This camp, which will be a 4 day camp, will be an ideal way to jump start a strong beginning to your season. There will be 4 hours of ice per day, 50 minutes of off ice/hip maintenance, and classroom sessions with our coaches. This camp is limited to 24 participants.
